Our Leadership

Board of Directors

Meet the faithful leaders and ministry partners serving Savior's Heartbeat with prayer, wisdom, and accountability.

Dr Deva & Krupa (Grace)
01

Honorary Board of Directors

Dr Deva & Krupa (Grace)

Faithful ministry leaders who have served the Lord in India for 35 years through faith, sacrifice, and compassion.

Meet Pastor Deva and his wife Krupa (Grace)

Pastor Deva and his wife Krupa, whose name means Grace, have been faithfully serving the Lord in India for the past 35 years through a faith ministry. When they first entered the ministry, they faced many hardships, including opposition, poverty, and countless struggles. There were times when they did not even have enough food to eat. Yet, through every trial, God remained faithful and led them step by step.

By the grace of God, the same ministry that once struggled for daily food is now helping feed hundreds of children and many homeless people. Truly, God has turned their tears into testimony, and we praise Him for His faithfulness.

In 1997, as mentioned in the introduction by Jerry Ayers and Debi Ayers, God brought Pastor Deva to America. When he first arrived, he knew very little about the country and faced many challenges, especially while staying at a campground in Ashland, Virginia. Adjusting to the American lifestyle and diet was very difficult for him. But the Lord was with him through every step.

Over the years, God blessed Pastor Deva with many loving friends in America who became more like family than relatives. They welcomed him into their homes, cared for him with love, fed him, and treated him as a special member of their families. Praise the Lord for such precious friendships.

Today, God is doing wonderful works through Pastor Deva and the ministry in India. Thousands of people have heard the Gospel, and many pastors are faithfully ministering in villages. The ministry continues to care for hundreds of children and many homeless and needy people.

By the grace of God, Pastor Deva and the ministry have also helped build nearly 67 churches. Among them, 12 churches were built in the very difficult mission fields of Odisha, where sharing the Gospel can be extremely challenging. In addition, nearly 20 churches were built with the generous support of dear brother Dan Hiles and many other faithful friends.

Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

Rev. Jerry & Debi Ayers

Honorary Board of Directors

Rev. Jerry & Debi Ayers

Faithful honorary board members who have stood with Savior's Heartbeat Ministries through prayer, guidance, and compassionate partnership.

In 1997, our founder, Deva, met Brother Jerry Ayers and his wife, Mrs. Debi Ayers, for the first time in the USA. This compassionate, godly couple warmly welcomed Deva, a stranger and compassionate minister from India, into their home. As the word says in Hebrews 13:1-2, keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

During his stay, Deva shared his vision for Savior's Heartbeat ministry and requested the Ayers' help in setting up a US-based bank account to oversee incoming offerings. First of all, they marveled at this preacher from India. He did not have shelter to stay, but he was asking to set up a bank account and oversee the ministry.

While in their home for a couple weeks, many times Deva invited Brother Jerry to visit India and minister to the people of India. In 1999, Brother Jerry and Keith Carr answered God's call, traveling to India, where they witnessed thousands gathering to hear the good news and witnessed the spiritual hunger of the people in this country. During their visit, they blessed hundreds of widows and children, bringing joy and gratitude. They personally witnessed the compassionate ministry of Deva in India.

Upon returning to the US, Brother Jerry and Sister Debi established Savior's Heartbeat USA, a registered IRS account, ensuring transparency through annual audits. They faithfully forwarded offerings to India, as instructed by Deva. Mrs. Debi Ayers, the secretary to Savior's Heartbeat in USA, sends tax-deductible receipts to donors at the end of every year.

The Savior's Heartbeat team in India extends their deepest gratitude to the Ayers for their selfless, God-inspired support. Their generosity has enabled us to provide crucial aid to the poor and needy, addressing both physical and spiritual necessities.

Dr Ray & Barb Gardner
03

President

Dr Ray & Barb Gardner

Serving as president with leadership, wisdom, and care for the continued growth and accountability of the ministry.

We are honored to introduce our President, Dr. Raymond J. Gardner, MD, a medical doctor, and his wife, dear woman of the Lord and our dear sister Mrs. Barb, a medical nurse, from Marion, Ohio. Together, they share a profound commitment to the Lord's work in India alongside Pastor Deva and his daughter, Dr. Angel.

A Heart for Service in India

Dr. Ray has traveled to India on several occasions to partner with Pastor Deva. His ministry has made a significant impact through:

Evangelism: Preaching at the Savior's Heartbeat crusades, where thousands have gathered and countless lives were dedicated to Christ.

Pastoral Support: Providing fellow pastors with biblical teaching and essential clothing. Dr. Ray has a special gift of prophecy, a word from the Lord to each person that comes to him for prayer. People of India love him so much.

Humanitarian Aid: Offering hands-on support to those in need, including orphanages and homeless populations, elderly individuals and widows, and leper colonies.

A Bond of Faith and Family

The connection between these two families transcends borders. Whenever Pastor Deva and Dr. Angel visit the United States, most recently in 2025, the Gardners welcome them with open arms.

They receive them not just as honored guests, but as cherished members of their own family.

We thank the Lord for the Gardners' enduring love and their tireless dedication to serving His people in India.

Dr. Angel Joy Susan

Dr. Angel Joy Susan

Serving as vice president with deep faith, medical excellence, and a lifelong commitment to healing and service.

Meet Our Vice President: Dr. Angel Joy Susan

It is a privilege to introduce the Vice President of Savior's Heartbeat, Dr. Angel Joy Susan. A young lady of deep faith and professional excellence, Dr. Angel embodies the mission of our ministry through her lifelong commitment to healing and service.

A Life of Faith and Leadership

Dr. Angel accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a very young age and has lived as a dedicated witness for the Lord ever since. Her leadership was evident early on. While attending a secular medical college, she served as a Bible study group leader, fostering spiritual growth among her peers. Today, she continues to serve the Lord with contagious enthusiasm.

Compassion in Action

Dr. Angel's medical career is defined by her heart for the marginalized. Her experience includes missionary service, spending over three years serving underprivileged communities at a Christian hospital in Odisha, India. She has a consistent dedication to providing medical care and hope to those who lack access to essential services.

A Pillar of the Family

Pastor Deva gives all glory to God for his daughter's life and presence. He often attributes his continued good health to two factors: the Lord's special grace and the devoted care of Dr. Angel. Through her professional medical expertise and uttermost care, she has faithfully served both her father and mother.

Vision for the Future

In her role as Vice President, Dr. Angel is committed to advancing the mission of Savior's Heartbeat across both India and the United States. She seeks to bridge the gap between medical care and spiritual outreach, ensuring that the needy are touched by the love of Christ.

A Request for Prayer

We invite you to uphold Dr. Angel in your prayers. Please join us in asking for the Lord's continued blessings upon her life, her medical ministry, and her future as she serves the Kingdom.

Secretary

Kevin & Marina Rodriguez Adams

Serving as secretary with a heart for God's Kingdom, Harvest Ministries partnership, and the mission in India.

Meet our Secretary Kevin & his dear wife Marina Rodriguez Adams

We are so blessed to introduce our dynamic leader, Kevin Adams. While he is a brilliant school principal by profession, his true passion lies in his love for the Lord. He desires with all his heart to extend God's kingdom and bring Him glory. Kevin is a wonderful brother to us all, and we love him dearly.

We also want to share our love for our dear sister, Marina Rodriguez Adams, Kevin's wife, whose beauty reminds us of the grace found in India. Together with her husband, her unwavering commitment to Savior's Heartbeat will surely bring great glory to our Master's holy name.

Let me start with our kingdom connection with Apostle Tim Adams, wonderful father of Kevin and Steve Adams. He is a devoted man of God, characterized by his profound compassion and a heart for the nations. His history with India spans many years, beginning with a significant visit alongside Pastor Ed Kevit and Roger Cross. Together, they witnessed the powerful movement of faith across the country.

A Bond of Family and Faith

The relationship between Harvest Ministries and Savior's Heartbeat, India, is built on genuine love. Whenever Pastor Deva visits the US, the Adams family, including Ma'am Brenda, Pastor Steve Adams, and Pastor Kevin Adams, welcomes him with open arms and treats him as a true member of their family.

Beyond this personal bond, Harvest Ministries and Pastor Kevin Adams are steadfast supporters of the Lord's work in India, providing the resources and prayers necessary to advance the mission.

The February 2026 Mission

In February 2026, Apostle Tim, Kevin, and Steve returned to India for a transformative season of ministry. Their visit was marked by powerful crusades and dedicated pastors' meetings that strengthened the local faith community.

They also served through humanitarian works, offering impactful care to orphans, widows, and the homeless. The team was deeply moved by the needs they encountered. Pastor Kevin Adams, in particular, showed his heart for the people and was moved to tears by the challenges faced by children living in poverty.

Through their leadership and the support of Secretary Kevin Adams, the ministry continues to be a beacon of hope and humanitarian aid.

Rev. Chris & Kathy Walls
06

Treasurer

Rev. Chris & Kathy Walls

Serving as ministry treasurer with faith, prayer, and a heart to support the work of God in India.

Meet Our Treasurer: Brother Chris Walls

We are pleased to introduce our wonderful brother, dear friend, and a man of great faith and prayer: Brother Chris Walls, who will be serving as our ministry's Treasurer.

Chris and his wife, Kathy, share a deep love for the Lord and a passion for supporting His work across the globe. Our journey together began way back in 1997 when I first met them in Inwood, West Virginia. I still vividly remember the kindness Chris showed then, tucking an offering into my pocket to support the ministry in India.

A Journey of Faith and Sacrifice

For many years, I invited Chris to visit India, but Kathy shared a heartfelt concern. She told me, "Pastor Deva, we have been married for 14 years and I have never spent a night without him. I cannot imagine him being so far away."

However, God's timing is perfect. When we met recently in 2025, Kathy shared a beautiful update. With a smile, she told me, "Pastor Deva, he can go to India now. I am ready for him to serve the Lord's work there." Praise the Lord for her heart of sacrifice and support!

Impacting the Kingdom

The Walls' dedication to Savior's Heartbeat is a profound blessing. Their contribution will be a cornerstone in building and extending God's Kingdom in India. We are truly honored to have Chris's leadership and their family's partnership in this mission.

Rev. Tom & Pastor Rhonda Snyder
07

Board Member

Rev. Tom & Pastor Rhonda Snyder

Faithful board members with a lifelong commitment to teaching, missions, and the people of India.

Meet Our Board Member: Rev. Tom Snyder

We are honored to introduce Rev. Tom Snyder, a dedicated member of the Savior's Heartbeat board. We thank the Lord for our dear sister, Tom's dear wife, Pastor Rhonda Snyder. Rev. Tom is a mighty man of God, a gifted preacher, and a profound Bible teacher with a deep heart for the nations.

A Lifelong Commitment to India

Since our first meeting in 2001, Rev. Tom has visited India almost every year. His consistent presence has allowed him to witness firsthand the incredible move of God across our land. The people of India, especially our local pastors, deeply treasure his teachings and are always eager for his return.

His love for the community is expressed through his tireless efforts to reach orphans and underprivileged children, elderly and impoverished widows, the homeless, and those in leper colonies.

Building for the Future

Rev. Tom's impact is perhaps most visible in Basavatharakanagar, Guntur. Through the generosity of Rev. Tom and his church, a dedicated prayer hall was constructed.

Since its completion, the congregation has flourished, growing to over 100 members. Pastor Samson and his family are now better equipped to serve their community and win souls for the Lord. Because the local members are often of humble means, this building also serves as a community hall, providing a free space for functions that families otherwise could not afford.

A Family Bound by Faith and Love

The entire Snyder family and the congregation of Back Creek Valley Full Gospel Church share a deep and abiding love for Dr. Deva. Their support goes far beyond ministry; it is a true family bond.

A Loving Home Away from Home

Every Wednesday evening, Mother Snyder prepares a special family dinner and warmly invites Dr. Deva to join their wonderful gathering. This tradition has made him a true part of their family circle.

In fact, Rev. Tom's son-in-law, Pastor Juddy, his wife Eden, and their young daughter Genesis affectionately call him "Uncle Deva."

A Powerful Witness

The connection between our ministries reached a new height in 2025 when Pastor Juddy Delgado visited India. His testimony was so moving and powerful that our people requested to hear it again and again. During a four-day crusade, he was asked to share his story three separate times to accommodate those who were touched by his words. We give all the glory to God for the lives changed through his witness!

Rev. Tom's love for India is truly inspiring. We give all the glory and honor to God Almighty for his partnership and service!

Rachael & Alen Fils

Board Member

Rachael & Alen Fils

Faithful friends and board partners known for hospitality, prayer, and deep love for the work in India.

Introducing Rachel: A Heart for the Lord and Savior's Heartbeat

We are pleased to introduce Rachael, a dedicated board member of Savior's Heartbeat. Rachael is a beautiful person, both inside and out, whose life is a testament to her love for the Lord.

A Legacy of Faith and Service

Our history with Rachel dates back to 2001, when she joined an 11-member team led by Rev. Jerry Ayers. Along with Rev. Tom Snyder, Bro. Yohan, Brother Ron and Wilma Swick, Pastor Steve and Angie Wymer, Sister Debi Ayers, and Amanda, Rachael traveled to India to share the Gospel.

In a beautiful act of respect for local customs, the women's team covered their heads and ministered to crowds of nearly 15,000 people over five nights. The hunger for God was so great that these sisters would often stay until 2:00 AM, praying individually for the women who attended the crusade. It was a remarkable move of God that remains a cherished memory.

A Partnership of Love and Hospitality

Rachael is married to Brother Alen Fils, a wonderful man who shares her passion for God's work across the nations. Their support for the ministry in India is constant and deeply appreciated. Whenever I visit the United States, Rachael and Alen open their home with incredible warmth. They even go to the extra effort of serving rice and Indian curries, a rare and comforting treat during my travels abroad. Their hospitality and prayers are a true blessing to our mission.

Gratitude to the Palmer Family

We also wish to honor Rachael's parents, Roger and Sister Sandee Palmer. For many years, they have been a home away from home in the US. Their kindness knows no bounds.

Heartfelt Care: They have consistently provided food, lodging, and support, treating me with the honor due to a servant of the Lord. Sister Sandee takes care of us very well. Thank you, sister, and God bless!

Joy and Laughter: Roger is a man of great humor, keeping spirits high with his jokes and joyful personality.

Ministry Support: They have personally driven me to various churches across the region to ensure the Word of God could be preached.

To Rachael, Alen, and the Palmers, thank you for being such wonderful friends and partners in the Gospel. Praise the Lord!

Sister Maggie Griffen
09

Board Member

Sister Maggie Griffen

A dedicated board member whose love for India has opened Kingdom connections and encouraged many lives.

Meet Our Board Member: Sister Maggie Griffen

We are delighted to introduce Sister Maggie Griffen, a dedicated member of the Savior's Heartbeat board. Maggie is a wonderful woman of God with a heart that truly reflects the love of Jesus.

A Step of Faith in India

Our journey began in 1999 when I first met Maggie in the United States. In 2001, she traveled to India to join us for a crusade in a small village. To her surprise, over 3,000 people gathered to hear the Word.

When I asked her to address the crowd, she was initially hesitant, saying, "Pastor Deva, I have never spoken to this many people in my life!" But standing on the promise that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, she stepped forward and did an excellent job. That day, many lives were dedicated to Christ, and hundreds came forward seeking her prayers for God's touch.

Compassion in Action

Beyond the pulpit, Maggie has a deep passion for humanitarian work. During her time in India, she made a lasting impact by encouraging elderly and underprivileged widows, offering comfort and reminding them to keep trusting in the Lord. She also reached children by sharing the stories of Jesus and providing them with a special dinner that brought them much joy.

A Bridge for the Kingdom

Since that first visit, Maggie's love for the work in India has never wavered. She has been a vital Kingdom connection for this ministry. In fact, the majority of the connections we have today in North Carolina are thanks to her efforts in introducing me to new friends and supporters.

We pray that the Lord continues to pour out His richest blessings upon Maggie as she takes on this new responsibility as a board member. We look forward to serving alongside her to see many more souls added to His Kingdom.

Praise the Lord!
